El festival internacional de cine de Toronto ha completado hace apenas unos momentos la programación de todas las secciones de su 39º edición que se celebrará del 4 al 14 de septiembre. En total serán 285 títulos los que viajen a la ciudad canadiense con el fin de tener en este prestigioso marco su premiere mundial o conseguir distribuidor. Entre las últimas incorporaciones destacan "Winter Sleep", Palma de Oro en Cannes y representante turca al Oscar; la ucraniana "The Tribe", una de las grandes sensaciones en la Semana de la Crítica de Cannes; "St. Vincent", opera prima de Theodore Melfi protagonizada por Bill Murray, Naomi Watts y Melissa McCarthy; la española "Magical Girl", de Carlos Vermut, que competirá en la Sección Oficial de San Sebastián a finales de septiembre, o las últimas propuestas de los cineastas Julie Taymor ("A Midsummer Night’s Dream") o Denis Tanović ("Tigers")
