Viendo la cantidad de títulos que se han nominado en estos premios, da la sensación que estamos ante una preselección de la Academia que otra cosa. Las ausencias más notables son: "The Seasons of Quincy: Four Portraits of John Berger" y "Lo and Behold, Reveries of the Connected World".
ResponderEliminarDe lo visto, parece que "13th" y "Gleason" son apuestas muy seguras de cara a los Oscar... aunque siempre es una categoría que da miles de sorpresas. Algo que habrá que ver también será si la Academia le hará caso a "OJ: Made in America", título imprescindible para la crítica pero, al parecer, provoca ciertas reticencias en la Academia.
Otro punto a tener en cuenta es la categoría de Canción ya que es habitual en los Oscar que salga alguna nominada del género Documental... y este año hay varios nombres importantes. Muchos apuestan por "Letters to the Free", la canción de "13th", pero no hay que olvidar a Sia ("The Eagle Huntress"), Tori Amos ("Audrie & Daisy") o Sting ("Jim: The James Foley Story"). Creo que de estas canciones podría salir una nominada a los Oscar.
