Pues se esperaba que los premios se los repartieran entre tres títulos, "American Honey", "I, Daniel Blake" y "Under the Shadow"... y eso es lo que ha ocurrido.
ResponderEliminarPersonalmente, creía que la película de Ken Loach se iba a llevar el premio gordo, mientras que Andrea Arnold ganaría Dirección. Al final, "American Honey" ha realizado doblete.
En los premios interpretativos, la victoria de Dave Johns estaba cantada, mientras que la de Sasha Lane, sin ser una sorpresa, estaba más cuestionada por la rivalidad Hayley Squires (premio como Revelación) y Narges Rashidi. En Reparto, Avi Manshadi era otro premio cantado en el apartado femenino. En Actor de Reparto, no conocía a ninguno de los contendientes.
Respecto al premio de Película Extranjera, el triunfo de "Moonlight" demuestra que es un título que gusta más allá de EEUU y que es un producto que supera, con creces, la etiqueta de "película americana", venciendo a producciones más acordes al gusto de la crítica europea como "Toni Erdmann".
