Sight & Sound, la revista editada por el British Film Institute, ha publicado su tradicional lista con las mejores películas del año. Los 93 críticos que han participado en la encuesta han escogido a 'Aftersun', de Charlotte Wells, como el título más destacado de 2022. Completan el podio dos cintas que están en la lucha por el Oscar a la mejor película internacional: la francesa 'Saint Omer' y la coreana 'Decision to Leave'. El cine español cuela dos películas en el Top 50 ('Pacifiction' en el 12 y 'Madres paralelas' en el 31).
