Bueno, ya los premios de la critica han aportado practicamente todo lo que tenian que dar. Ya quedó claro que Cillian Murphy, Lily Gladstone, Da'Vine Joy Randolph y Robert Downey Jr son sus actores del año.
ResponderEliminarSin haber terminado de dar aún todos los premios de critica, creo que da para hacer un balance de estos, antes de que comiencen a darse los premios que de verdad importan para los Oscar, que son los premios "televisados" y los de los gremios. Honestamente me esperaba mas victorias para Pobres Criaturas, American Fiction, Anatomia de una Caida, Vidas Pasadas o Los Que se Quedan, porque son mas el perfil de oeliculas que premia la critica, antes que Oppenheimer o Los Asesinos de la Luna, que son peliculas mas de industria.
Por cierto, ayer se dieron los premios de Palm Springs, que se emitieron en youtube y al que asistieron varios de los nombres destacables de la temporada. Aqui se decantaron por premiar a mejor actor a Cillian Murphy y a Emma Stone en mejor actriz. Veremos si Lily y Bradley no tienen todo tan ganado como los expertos piensan (aunque algunos ya están empezando a apostar por Murphy para los Globos de Oro)
A mí me gustó más el trabajo de Emma Stone y de Paul Giamatti. Lily está más que correcta, pero no me parece que tenga el peso suficiente para creerla la protagonista. Sé que el premio irá a parar en sus manos, pero no estoy del todo seguro que sea justo. ¿Pero qué es justo? El año pasado se premió a Yeoh sobre Blanchett, y aunque a muchos no les parezca, Blanchett estuvo impecable y demostró (una vez más) por qué su nombre hace eco en el mundo de la actuación. Es triste que la Academia base muchos de sus premios en factores ajenos al trabajo artístico y a la rigurosa preparación de muchos histriones para ofrecer lo mejor de ellos.

EliminarMichelle Yeoh está fantástica pero lo de Cate Blanchett es de otro planeta. Creo que ninguna actriz viva puede alcanzar la dimensión interpretativa que logró Blanchett. Le hubiesen dado el Óscar pero ella ya tiene dos!! Y supuestamente es demasiado joven para tener tres.
EliminarMenuda tontería (lo de la edad). Este año cumple 55, no es "demasiado joven" para nada, y menos para tener tres Oscar. La Academia lleva años aguantando acusaciones de ser "so white". Yeoh ganó porque era una ocasión histórica para premiar a una actriz oriental y la aprovecharon. Esto es así.
