  1. Pues un documental mexicano en competencia :)

  2. Sorprende que el documental dirigido por Peter Jackson ("They Shall not Grow Old") no haya tenido, ni tan siquiera, una nominación. Desconozco la repercusión que pueda tener los premios especializados en documentales pero, por el momento, parece partir con cierta desventaja frente a otros títulos.

    Visto lo visto, creo que hay ya cinco títulos que están empezado a destacar bastante: "Apollo 11", "The Biggest Little Farm", "Honeyland", "American Factory" y "One Child Nation". Después, destacaría "Sea of Shadows", "The Cave", "For Sama", "The Edge of Democracy" y el propio documental de Peter Jackson.

    Creo que los cinco nominados estarán entre estos 10 documentales. Esta categoría tiende a dar sorpresas pero, por el momento, son los títulos más nombrados en estos premios.

    Mención especial, una vez más, al documental "Honeyland", candidata por Macedonia del Norte para Largometraje Internacional y que, cada día, está ganando más adeptos. El documental no es precisamente el tipo de películas que destacan en la categoría pero "Honeyland" podría romper esa barrera.
