'Blitz', una de las pocas películas de esta carrera que todavía no había visto la luz, tuvo su premiere mundial ayer en el Festival de Londres y, de manera simultánea, también fue proyectada en el Festival de Nueva York. El drama bélico de Steve McQueen ha recibido unas críticas bastante positivas (94% en Rotten Tomatoes y 76 en Metacritic) que la confirman como una serie aspirante a estar entre las diez nominadas al Oscar, aunque probablemente no haya despertado el entusiasmo suficiente como para acabar haciéndose con el premio gordo. Mientras que algunos medios (The Wrap o The Independent) la catalogan de "obra maestra" y "logro monumental para el cine británico", otros (The Hollywood Reporter y Variety) señalan que la película está muy bien realizada pero que en realidad se trata de una propuesta muy convencional.

ResponderEliminarPosiblemente tenga el.mismo recorrido de películas británicas anteriores como Atonement, Dunkerke o 1917. Nominaciones importantes, algunos premios pero no Mejor Película ni Director. Para ser británico y ganar los premios principales se necesita tener a Weinstein detrás, como paso con El Discurso del Rey.
