La Academia acaba de publicar los listados de títulos elegibles en las categorías de Mejor Película de Animación, Mejor Película Documental y Mejor Película Internacional. En el apartado dedicado a las cintas de habla no inglesa se dan cita finalmente 93, exactamente las mismas que en las dos ediciones anteriores (el récord histórico). Por el Oscar al Mejor Documental compiten 138 películas mientras que en la categoría de Animación se han registrado 26 entradas. Las listas de documentales y películas internacionales quedarán reducidas a 15 títulos el próximo 21 de diciembre.

  1. Flee en los 3 listados. Un hito. Y se prevé nominada en las 3. Creo q obtendrá el de Documental.

    3. No. The Rescue tiene más opciones de ganar, por el tipo de documental que es y viendo el tipo de las últimas ganadores. Summer of soul es un documental de archivo, y esos la academia a veces no los nominan. Flee podría ganar, pero animación es la categoría donde tiene más opciones.

      No sólo es ver el momento de las películas, sabemos que en años pasados la favorita de ma critica ni siquiera pasa el corte.

    En internacional, me gustaría diera la sorpresa Lamb, que ya fue mencioanada un par de veces esta temporada, como en los NBR

Veo complicado en tiempos del #oscarsowhite que en una shortlist de 15, 10 vayan a venir de Europa (aun con las características particulares sociopolíticas de Kosovo), 4 de Asia -y de los países más potentes, China, Corea del Sur, Japón e Irán- y sólo una hispanoamericana, que encima sea norteamericana.

      ¿Sudamérica y África sin representación? Lo veo raro.
      Y en las nominaciones yo ya digo que estando las propuestas francesa, kosovar, mexicana y alemana dirigidas por una mujer y algunas de ellas habiendo sido reconocidas por premios de gran prestigio que no se cuele ninguna de ellas en la lista de 5 lo veo poco practicable.

    2. espero q ese criterio extracinematográfico de mierda no sea el común, y prime lo q debe primar, lo único analizable, q es la calidad, y se olviden de inclusismo, sexismo, corrección, buenismo geopolítico y demás sandeces.

      el cine africano es prácticamente nulo y precario, por motivos obvios, y antes no entraba nunca, pq no valía ni apenas vale nada. Las q entraron africanas en la shortlist en los últimos años eran mediocres y no merecieron estar ahí. Afortunadamente no consiguieron nominación.

      Sudamerica ha tenido buenos años pero en este no veo ninguna ni preseleccionable.

      Y es completamente lógico y coherente q el grueso de la lista sea cine europeo. Muchas veces sería lógico q fueran europeas las 5 nominadas, y si no vs así es pq se evita por esos criterios absurdos e injustos. Si votaran por cine...

    4. es q quizá ingenuamente, aun sabiendo q se da esto q digo, en parte, tb digo q tiendo a pensar q obviamente no todos se plegarán a eso... y para muchos votantes oprima el cine y así confío en q se refleje en el resultado final. es mi apuesta, aunque cosas fallarán.

  4. En animación me gustaría ver entre las nominadas a Cryptozoo, The Spine of Night, The Summit of the Gods y Flee por darle algo de variedad... aunque ya sé que es imposible. Las dos últimas son las que tienen más opciones de entrar.

    1. A mi me gustan por igual Luca, Belle, Encanto y Raya; a todas las quiero ver nominadas.

      Y por variar, se lo daría a Belle, al ser un anime, q sólo ha ganado de esas El viaje de Chihiro.

    2. Pues yo quiero que gane cualquiera salvo Luca, Encanto y Raya, no tiene sentido que siempre ganen Pixar o Disney habiendo obras igual de buenas, aunque no sean tan comerciales. Y eso lo digo habiéndome gustado tanto Encanto como Raya (Luca bastanet menos), pero es que es siempre lo mismo...

  8. Salieron las calificaciones de la crítica de Being the Ricardos y no me lo esperaba tras las reacciones iniciales. Son muy bajas para lo que pensé.

    1. Son mejores las críticas de House of Gucci. No veo que levante pasión, por lo menos la cinta de Ridley Scott tiene amantes y detractores por igual.
